Hypocrisy…The parasite that never dies…

Partisanship beliefs tend to polarize and fragment people, cultures, and our race in general to the point of breeding discourse, bigotry, and hate, to our homes, schools, and our world in general, weather it be religion, or politics…I feel the fragmentation in Churches and other cultural paradigms in general today, more then ever, are far more dangerous then in any one other time in history…Political, and cultural “group think”, closed off exclusivity, and man made doctrinal views that tend to lend themselves to supposedly endowing us, so called believers, with the ridicules notion that we are in a position to judge, and convey to our brothers and sisters, that dont believe the way we do, what God has in store for them, which is always sending them straight to hell, is both, insane, and evil in nature…Who of us knows Gods mind in part, let alone in full..We need to get our shit together here, and realize people see life through different lenses, and respect that fact, or we are doomed to fail. Christ was, and is, INCLUSIVE, all Loving, all knowing, all encompassing, and yet somehow, we in this country, and abroad, have managed to package it, sell it, and twist it up beyond recognition to suit our own needs … then we even wonder why the secular community turns away from us in utter contempt. We now practice what WE preach, and NOT what HE preached (Christ)…At this point, we stand no chance of us, as people who posture ourselves as followers of Christ, being introduced to Christ and His love through this indoctrinated, man made ministering of judment and discourse we have cultivated over the last 1800 years or so. We have lost our way, and still have the arrogance to still stand on our soap box and proclaim Christ as we work against everything He taught us, and everything He died for on the cross, then turn right around and dam everyone to hell that dosent follow us on this path to insanity …We need to Wake up!!!

Minister Phelps and his mission of hate…

I grew up in a somewhat well known criminal family in the north east from birth. I dident know a bass ball bat was used for a game till I went to school, so I know hate and violence pretty well, and know it up close and personal, and the self perpetuating organism for what it is, evil… Love of God, and the love for playing music, and the arts in general moved me far away from the illness cultivated by this foul force that seems to feed on us from both outside and in…Chris Hetchens even stated  “we need this word, Evil in our vocabulary, “and hes certainly not a religious man, just a man who has drawn that conclusion based on his observations as he walk through his life… Its no longer a religious word.  It dose describe a very real force we have to contend with in our lives…Hate feeds on itself, and has to also be feed from outside itself to survive,( yes, this is my own subjective view cultivated by my own walk on this fantastic rock) …We all have a choice weather to allow this to feed on us, or not. Hate uses all facets of the human condition to render its hosts helpless, so it can nourish itself and expand its ugly agenda … In a perfect world, it would starve itself to death, but, as we all know this world is a tad bit on the imperfect side, and the only thing we can do is not let it feed on us at every turn…Maybe by us withholding our contribution to its daily portion of nourishment, from, it, might contribute to the cause… Which is peace. Men like Mr Phelps leave behind a trail of discourse, and hate, that will set us back as a culture for a few years to come, but we can use his blinding, misguided, perverse interpretation of what perversion is to him and his followers , to maybe shine a light into this otherwise dark cave of the dead leading the dead…

Cultural intolerance…

Any extremist slash fundamentalist group will always attempt to push their way into the minds of everyone they come in contact with, its seems to be the very nature of what fundamentalism / literalism means in our political, religious culture today, to me anyway, and its a great real estate scam as well…Control over the masses has always been number one all throughout history with greedy humans that have the word TAKE imprinted upon their hearts. Religion became a great tool for these parasites, but to be fair, men will do the same ugly maneuvers without religion, just look at the last 100 years, its open game out here…The same problems have always been here, and the same perverted thirst for domination seems to be always drinking the life blood of the passive at heart, to satisfy their own foul thrust for control, by twisting and morphing any Holy book, Philosophy, or even theoretical sciences they can use to meet their goal for control. But religion without dirty hands handling it, is a pathway to God in my view, trick is finding one with at least a good number of honest men and woman with good hearts at the helm, they are out there I have found some truly motivated people of God within the walls of many different religions, and many truly honest people that dont believe in God as well, and that gives me much hope…I’m sure not going to throw out that baby with the bath water…Scripture has assisted me in knowing God, in spite of myself, and my need for exploitation… Plus lets face it, how many people following any religion today actually studies their Holy Book, and investigates the history of their books, as a Theists who follows Christ, I can tell you not to many at all that I have run into over the years…Its a bumper sticker mentality out here…Getting along with our fellow humans, and being of service to each other will always trump ignorance every time…And cracking a book open once in a wile cant hurt…lol…We all need to find a way to understand our tribal wiring and bypass that wiring, so we can start to understand, weather a Theists, or Atheists, or Agnostic, Hindu, Buddhists, or any other manner of belief system, if it dosent have hate, discourse, bigotry, and harm attached to it its worth acquiring a knowledge of it, so at the very least we get to see, we are all pretty connected to one another, and not so very different…Just sayin

Religious and cultural tolerance…

I think, Gods reflection runs thru men of God, who possessed the knowledge of God that most of us may not be aware of, and they reflected God to us through their life and their ministries…and these men, dew to cultural diversity, time in history, and geographic origins, express God from the prospective of those very cultural, and geographic origins…  …If we take away the stigma of organized “religion” which has mans bony nasty little hand prints all over it, and just focus on what God might look like to us and others, and see religion as mans best attempt to explain God from within a tainted world of ITS own making, we may do better in getting along, and grow toward a better understanding of God, the world around us, and ourselves… I do realize we dont have a very good history of conveying God in a proper light, to say the very least, Buy hey, we struggle in all areas of human existence to grow and become better…nor dose man have a very good history of conveying anything else outside his own paradigm for that matter period…Im a theists, and I follow Christ and His teachings, but I have no organized religion that would even tolerate me…lol…I love Science, Philosophy, I Love God, and I love Christ, I kinda dont belong to a tribe, and its not a very comforting way to go, but to thy own self be true… I think everyone that has a passion to be a decent human being has something to bring to the table here, its just very difficult to shut off the switch on our own perceptions long enough to acquire a good understanding of what things look like inside someone else’s head..Once we plant our feet into what we see as solid ground, we dont budge…I know this from personal experience…lol…From my own perspective as a Theists, if a man dose in fact Love God with all his heart, and dose in fact love his neighbor as himself as Christ instructed, then everything else really dosent require a strict observation or social conclusions, or pat on the back as to who is doing what and when, and how that relates to a mans relationship with God. The relationship between a man and God becomes a personal one. And the level of dedication will show itself thru the mans, or woman’s fruits as they walk thru this life…Now the discipline a person might require to achieve a closeness to God is a nother story, prayer, mediation, service to others, and so forth…These things are very important, and each religion has its manner of going about achieving this oneness with God, Hindu, Buddhist, and so forth,or in the case of an Atheists that has love in his or her heart…

The intolerance toward Muslims…

This is a quote from the Quran “…whosoever killeth a human being… it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind”…And No, Im not a Muslim, but I have read the Quran…”Human Beings have been taring each other a part for as long as we have been on this planet in the name of anything they find within their grasp to latch onto to express their hate for themselves, and express this hate by harming others. Its not something that takes place in a certain culture or religion, ITS everywhere…This hate has taken place in every nook and cranny of human culture for as long as we have been here, history can only provides a short view of this at this time. Having said that, we have also have been trying to evolve past this inner hostility for ourselves and our brothers and sisters…Looking at the positive evolution, and spiritual growth of the human nature gives me hope…Words have the power to bring people together, or ignite all kinds of discourse in any environment…so I think we just need to pick our words carefully, which is hard to do in a global culture that has been conditioned to react to everything with anger…If their is any answer to the big questions, this answer has to lie within mans capacity to be tolerant and fair minded with one another…Just sayin

More of the same…But!

My rant for the week…lol…

Well we have had a lot of great minds over the last 3 or 4 thousand years trying to understand everything from who we are to why we are here, and have left a wealth of information in their path. But we are interpretive beings, and that leads to all kinds of problems…Kierkgaard said “he believed that in regard to the BIG Questions the opinion of the group was invariably the wrong one…We need to think for ourselves and be very suspicious of Groupthink”…End of quote…With this many people on the planet, and the tools to communicate in a split second across the world, groupthink will develop big muscles in a short time…Thats why I believe we all need to really try and see things thru other peoples glasses even if we dont agree with them on the Big Questions…I mean after all, no one can answer these questions anyway, why attach ourselves to an answer that hasn’t been answered…Ive read Harris, Hitchens, and so on, I think many of their observations are credible, but I believe in God, I see God everywhere in everything, but some very good friends, dont see God anywhere…We have studied many of the same texts, and yet still we come to 2 very different conclusions, and world views…Im Ok with that…Logic, in these very big question areas, have very different conclusions depending who is behind the wheel of the investigation…Personally, Id love to see a huge movement of tolerance start from the grass roots and work its way into the culture BIG TIME…The powers that be have been masters of fragmentation n polarization for far to long…Theirs a lot of boogie men out there working hard on both sides of everything to create, and, or maintain a power base at our expense. Race isn’t working very well for them anymore, so now ideology and Faith, or no faith, is the new frontier to keep us all from getting along…We have plenty of intellects out there working their science and art without an agenda, we just dont pay any attention to them…The fix is in…For me, I just have to not except that I have to buy into the fix.A very wise man once said…”Cant we all just get along”? Just sayin…
