Time to take a good look in the mirror…

As bad as it is, that we have all allowed banks and corporations to place us in the position we are in today; truth is, we have not only allowed banks and corporations to place us in this position, but – in my view – we have compelled these banks, and these corporations to place us in this position, all in the name of consumerism; at any cost. As a collective “we” always turn our eyes away from the ugly – especially if it’s not on our soil – as long as we have an abundance of gas to burn “at will” for our SUV’s, Nike’s on our feet, food to waste &c. I believe we have mastered the art of Scapegoating as a culture, and now we are at the beginning of having to witness the fallout of our insatiable appetites. Bertrand Russell I believe had it right.

“It is a natural propensity to attribute misfortune to someone’s malignity. When prices rise, it is due to the profiteer; when wages fall, it is due to the capitalist. Why the capitalist is ineffective when wages rise, and the profiteer when prices fall, the man in the street does not inquire. Nor does he notice that wages and prices rise and fall together. If he is a capitalist, he wants wages to fall and prices to rise; if he is a wage earner, he wants the opposite. When a currency expert tries to explain that profiteers and trade unions and ordinary employers have very little to do with the matter, he irritates everybody, like the man who threw doubt on German atrocities. (In World War I) We do not like to be robbed of an enemy; we want someone to have when we suffer. It is so depressing to think that we suffer because we are fools; yet taking mankind in mass, that is the truth. For this reason, no political party can acquire any driving force except through hatred; it must hold someone to obloquy. If so-and-so’s wickedness is the sole cause of our misery, let us punish so-and-so and we shall be happy. The supreme example of this kind of political thought was the Treaty of Versailles. Yet most people are only seeking some new scapegoat to replace the Germans.”

The lullaby…

Cointelpro, McCarthyism, The War on Drugs from the 80’s came to mind, along with today’s race for the White House. At this stage of the game here in the U.S. I think we have to be extremely careful what band wagon we decide to climb onto, as they both seem, very! extreme, very! contrived, and very! dangerous…With a Media driven culture owned by BIG corporations, linked to wall street and our Government – that, along with, bumper stickers and memes being the primary intellectual information source we have at our disposal these days – I feel we might be on thin ice.
I find myself as guilty of falling into these cold waters as anyone else; repetition from news feeds – sound bites – 24/7 being converted to conversation; the masses become Inadvertently a devilish means of “people management” for these Apes and Billygoats ruling the roost. Everyone from the blue collar worker to the scholar are exposed, and inflicted, (for the most part) by this barrage, this social engineering, this cultural assault.
Old tricks, new techniques, same outcome. They wine and dine, look us deep in the eyes, and sing us to sleep; then we wake up the next morning finding our homes have been robbed, our innocents taken, and a five dollars bill left on our nightstand along with a thank you note with no phone number. And! if that’s not enough, they come back four years later and do it all over again.
Gotta hand it to um,
they’re good,
really good.

Hard times…

Well, here we are 2016; near 50 years from the last time I have seen this kind of built up pressure getting ready to explode within our culture – for real. I was only 12 or 13 the last time this occurred, but I remember it like it was yesterday.

Same energy.
Same problems.
Same bullshit media.
Same puppet masters
Pulling everyone’s strings
To have them dance for their pleasure.

The only difference I can remember was the broadcasts were mostly in black and white, or a dingy diffuse color, from the lack of technology back in the day.

But, nothing new under the sun.

Same denial.
Same ethnicities.
Same mass hypnosis.
Same political pimping and pandering
By the very same pimps and whores
That sell us on their compassion and competence today.

The election, the media, the meme’s, the miscalculated published stats hurled into the social media culture to inflame this side or that, all put into hypermode; this polarization needed to keep everything status quo, and business as usual – is – bought with the blood of families and friends – either here or abroad – hate and distrust is the glue that keeps it all together.

We’re all victims here
We’re all perpetrators.
7.5 Billion worlds walking the planet.
Each world projecting itself, on to the next
Because each world can’t endure its own pain.
Time to take responsibility, and learn to love ourselves.

Project that! The Apes and Billy goats will suffocate from lack,
and fade off into history as they gasp for their last dying breaths of oxygen. In the mean time, try not to feed the animals.

Hug a enemy – he or she might be your brother or sister…

21st century schizoid man…

Progress: man in the 21th century; consumerism riding on the back of Mass transit, medical breakthroughs, and now global communications, have paved the way for the ultimate fragmentation of communities, and the unyielding destruction to our environment. This, I don’t think we ever saw coming, or its capacity to do the damage it is doing to our entire existence physically emotionally and environmentally, right before our eyes.

Man has a deep seated need to feel safe, loved, and a part of a community whether he admits to this or not. That need also brings`with it, a passion for his/hers community – and the land community exists upon – to thrive, reproduce, and nourish itself; this is built in to the survival instinct of man, and also his connection to the very dust he was molded from that contemporary economics and the new social paradigms are robbing us of. Profit is the new god, and cost is of no relevance to these circus clowns we look to for security, direction, and the illusion of freedom.

In 50 years a total ecological disaster has taken place, fragmentation of social stability through the dismantling of communities, a world controlled by media rhetoric directing human beings here and there as if we were cattle hypnotized by wolves. Our soil, our oceans, our rivers, ponds, lakes, and the air we breath – polluted beyond all belief – humans completely disconnected from our natural propensity to commune – have instead – embraced media, pharmaceuticals, and idiots for leadership and direction. Im thinking its time to flip the script on these monkeys and parasites that have endowed themselves with this sense of entitlement to the point of murder rape and destruction of this beautiful planet we have been blessed with.

Pavlov’s Dog

These powers, these systems, this twisted perceptions of comfort, safety and righteousness are tricks, smoke and mirrors – constructs of rape and murder – they make fools of us with this dog and pony show we are witness to these past few hundred days. This conditioning has been slowly administered in increments by greedy monkeys, ugly clowns, and false prophets; they have no capacity to “feel’ anything past their own ambition, and perverted sense of accomplishment – all in the name of public service.
We keep buying – so they keep selling.
Pavlov’s dog – ring a bell?

The Fool

We worship the fool – the fool guides us like needy children
Then, prop the fool up high, and worship the fool as a god.
Make human offerings in his honor; offer up our children
We embrace the rhetoric of the fool; pay the freight
Plead for protection from the boogy man he creates

We accept, we look forward to, with great anticipation
His shiny expensive gold watch, swinging back and forth
On a gold chain, held by the bony hand of this crafty ape.
You’re getting sleepy, veeery sleepy – your eyes; heavey.
When I snap my fingers – you will wake up! and sleep – Deeply.

Just yesterday

Mao Tse-tung referred to his foul system as “a Democratic Dictatorship.” Control, imagination, mass hypnosis.

He states in an article “On the People’s Democratic Dictatorship”, written in 1949 “The combination of these two aspects, democracy for the people and dictatorship over the reactionaries, is the people’s democratic dictatorship.” A warm description of a brutal regime.

In a speech in 1957 he says “In ordinary circumstances, contradictions among the people are not antagonistic. But if they are not handled properly, or if we relax our vigilance and lower our guard, antagonism may arise.” We all know what that meant.

In the same speech he states:

“This democratic method of resolving contradictions among the people was epitomized in 1942 in the formula “unity — criticism — unity”. To elaborate, that means starting from the desire for unity, resolving contradictions through criticism or struggle, and arriving at a new unity on a new basis. In our experience this is the correct method of resolving contradictions among the people.” Then later he states “Here, the essential thing is to start from the desire for unity. For without this desire for unity, the struggle, once begun, is certain to throw things into confusion and get out of hand. Wouldn’t this be the same as “ruthless struggle and merciless blows”? Merciless blows!? – now that’s rich considering the context.
He goes on “And what Party unity would there be left? It was precisely this experience that led us to the formula “unity — criticism — unity”. Or, in other words, “learn from past mistakes to avoid future ones and cure the sickness to save the patient”. We all know how that went.

A “Democracy for the people and dictatorship over the reactionaries” this madman states, hmm. Does any of this have the faint scent of BS that seems to have been slowly dispersed into the air here at home over the last fifteen years or so ? “Unity! – democratic method! – The struggle against! – Resolve! – Our Desire! – *unity — criticism — unity*! — Catch words to entice the imagination. We have a ton of them today floating around creating discourse among our citizenry 24/7 these days. Have we really been watching what has been taking place in our country over the last fifteen years? Divisions have been firmly and deliberately planted in the soil since 911, the media sings the same antagonizing songs to help with the maintenance of these divisions; we all know these melodies of polarization by heart at this point, and the music never really leaves our minds, it’s like a computer loop in our heads.

For those of us that are over 55, we have witnessed the changes; habeas corpus lost somewhere out there in the outer limits of yesteryear; corporate and wall street directly financing leadership, then holding them hostage to “their” will; politicians like giddy little children standing in line to attach the puppet strings to their arms and legs, so to be a part of this sorry show. (both right and left) Educational curriculum! well that’s just a whole other can of worms, both in the schools, and by way of documentaries for us older children.

I believe the general consensus today amongst “the powers that be,” is that a system ran “by the people” and “for the people” can no longer work because the people – in their minds – ” don’t possess the insight or intellectual awareness of the complexities of the inner workings, of such a complex set of social mechanisms, (as if these Apes and Billy Goats do) and that it may be time to take back the reins of power from “the people.” As if we actually ever really had it, but we have had a say, and I’m seeing that say slip away somewhere into the outer limits of yesteryear along with habeas corpus. The last fifteen years look very suspicious to me.

Maybe I’m just paranoid — maybe not.
Shoulders shrugged.
