Julia Davis-The terror Within… Brittany Murphy

This was a close friend of my sister Brittany Murphy, her death is sited in this interview…The story is shocking. But having said that…I watched the video about my kid sister and this young Davis woman, I even posted it on my blog..In as much as Davis has suffered a huge blow to her life, humanity, and the loss of her dad at the hands of Homeland sec, bringing my dead sister into it dose bother me very much…She died of Pneumonia …I just dont think homeland security caused that. However I do believe they did have her under surveillance…But for Davis to be planting the seed that homeland sec. had anything to do with my sisters death is far more damaging to me personally, as her brother, then even the fact that Britt is being used to promote her movie…Thats just my view…In closing I will say Brittany should be left to rest in peace and not be utilized for anyones agenda, (not meaning you Chris, but this whole Davis thing)…She died of PNEUMONIA, I read all 40 some pages of the autopsy report. She wasent killed…I just wish Hollywood, would just let the girl rest in peace instead of attempting to squeezing every last ounce of potential income out of her even as she is 6 feet under..

Celebration of Life – 1971 – Rock Festival in Lousiana

I was 16 years old, hair down to my shoulders, living in Atlanta GA, and hitch hiked with a buddy to this festival. Needless to say the Highway folks in the south tossed everything from beer cans to bags of garbage at us, but we got there…and back. Crazy kids…lol

I met David thru my Brother Tony Bertolotti when Tony was slugging it out with everybody and anybody in the Jazz circles at the time. Most of the musical drama played itself out at Richard’s Lounge. Later on I moved to 20th st in N,Y,C. about 15 blocks from David…The thing I remember about Dave was that he lent me a pro Yamaha Soprano for a few years the Yamaha gave him for some promo. I was 18, broke and living in a bad tenement house at the time, and Dave never worried me hocking it…Pretty nice thing to do for a kid on the street…

Jaco Pastorius, he was a force for sure!

I met Jaco thru Ira Sullivan, and became friends with him a few years later when he was working Alex Foster (alto sax player) and became friends, he had a house in Deerfield Florida, and I lived in Pompano…He would come by the house now and then and play, we would all have Jam sessions during the hot summer days in South Fla…Jaco tough me some big lessons about the difference between a lick player and a Artist/Painter…Finest Electric bass player ever to play the instrument without a doubt., and a GREAT guy…

Albert Dailey, My Big African Brother, Miss Him…

I met Albert when I was 16 years old living in the back of Richard’s Lounge in Lakewood N.J. Albert invited me to the The City and brought me around the studio he was working on his album in, and brought me to some of the clubs and just treated me like somebody…I never saw Albert after those few days I spent with him, he died not to long after.The man had a big influence on that 16 year old kid…Albert worked with everybody, John Coiltrane, Bird, you name em, he worked with them…

Finely a sax player with his own sound!

Most sax playes (not all) in the last 30 years sound the same to me, same sax lines, same sound, even play the same make horns…lol…You would think all that studying would be used for a more personal sound…I dont get it…Now this boy took the notes to his own place in space…Just sayin.
